What this site collects

Traffic measurement
This site uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages are read. IP addresses are anonymised, advertising features are switched off, and the analytics script is not loaded at all when your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal. Google's processing of this data is described in Google's own privacy policy.
Cookies and storage
The site sets no cookies of its own. Google Analytics sets its usual first-party cookies when it is loaded. The light or dark theme preference is kept in your browser's local storage and never sent anywhere.
The assistant
The "Ask Vector Foundries" assistant sends what you type, along with the current page and the earlier turns of that conversation, to a function we run on Microsoft Azure, which passes it to Anthropic's Claude to compose an answer. Conversations are logged with a truncated network address so we can improve the answers. If you choose to share contact details with it, they are emailed to Preston Miller together with that conversation so he can follow up, and kept for that purpose. The conversation itself stays in your browser tab until you close it.
There is no form on this site. What you send us by email is kept only for the purpose of replying and following up.
Third parties
Fonts, images and scripts are served from this site. Apart from analytics and the assistant described above, no third-party service is called from these pages.
